The farmhouse was renovated in 2013. It boasts the first permitted gray water irrigation system in Sonoma Valley and our solar system powers > 95% of the home's electricity. The gardens are nourished by a modern below-ground rain catchment and irrigation system. We love modern architecture and sourced reclaimed materials for a number of feautures. We grow seasonal produce that thrives well in our climate. Artichokes, kale, broccoli, onions and carrots are among the produce that grow well during the fall and winter months. In the summer, we grow Shishito and Padrone peppers, tomatoes, corn and melons. We don't use any pesticides and strive to farm as organically as we can.
