We are located on the East side of the town of Sonoma in the Carneros appellation, just below the Mayacamas Mountains and close to the Napa border. The San Pablo Bay is less than 5 miles away to the Soiuth. Cool nights, warm days and loamy clay soils are hallmarks of the Carneros viticulture area. With the grace of Mother Nature and the good stewardship of our vineyard management practices, the conditions of our vineyard’s terroir enable us to grow superlative cool-climate Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. Carneros’ temperatures are typically slightly cooler than those in nearby Napa Valley during the growing season, which enables our grapes to ripen more slowly and maturely, producing a sophisticated balance of restrained ripeness, complexity and acidity. The land is also a magical location for growing vegetables and our growing olive orchard.
Though we are located close to the Sonoma town square, the property feels magically rural. We love our proximity to other vineyards, famed wineries and our eclectic wine country neighbors.
